3. Training

Contact me direct via this site for training inquiries, a copy of my book on VT or for general info on VT and/or go to the Training Page or Contact Page of this site. This book challenges virtually everything school's assume works. It explains...

Most schools that go vertical without proper training and advice make avoidable and very major mistakes. The tragedy is that without proper advice, schools do not realise or admit to such errors. Vertical Tutoring is not simply a change to the 'pastoral system', neither is VT something that a school can simply 'incorporate' into existing practice. It is the Leadership Team that must be the first to understand what VT is at a deep management and leadership level to ensure successful implementation. Remember, VT is a change to the school's learning culture and is Values Driven as opposed to being target or logistics driven. If we ignore values, we diminish learning relationships and outcomes suffer.
